ALL ITEMS ARE HANDMADE Because the work we sell is not machine made, the slight imperfections are what makes each piece unique and significant. It is always important to remember when considering a purchase of hand-crafted artwork, both contemporary and antique, that variation from one piece to another testifies to the hand crafted techniques used to create them. From mouth-blown art glass to hand-rubbed finishes on jewelry boxes, to painted glazes on wheel-thrown ceramics, to sculpted lines in African masks, the marks left by the artist are what makes the pieces valuable, human, treasured.Pieces created for us in production work by an artist will all be very similar, with minor variations. Please keep this in mind when you order. Whenever available, we include information on the artist and care instructions for the item.
We want you to be very satisfied with your purchases from our web site, so we offer the following online policies.
Returns for Online or Store Credit, Exchange or Gift Certificate must be made within sixty days from the date the item was purchased. A return authorization number is required for all returns and may be obtained by calling or emailing the gallery. Returns received without an RA number will not be accepted. The item must be repacked carefully in the same manner as it was shipped (insured for the valued price) and shipped back to us. Shipping and handling charges will not be credited. The online and store credits and gift certificates have no time limit for expiration and can be used at any time at either of our galleries or on the web site.
Gifts With every gift purchased from our galleries or on line, we insert an exchange card which is coded to the date of purchase, the sales receipt number, and the artist. This enables the recipient to exchange merchandise without having to notify the purchaser. This is always contained within the gift box unless the purchaser requests otherwise. Unwanted gifts must be returned to the gallery within sixty days from the date the item was purchased, accompanied by the exchange card within the original box. Gifts must be in their original, undamaged condition. The recipient will be given online or store credit or a gift certificate which can be used on line or in either of our galleries at any time. There is no time limit on its use. There are no cash or credit refunds.
Returns for Refund are available by requesting a Return Authorization number by calling or emailing the gallery within 7 days of the receipt of the shipment. The UPS and USPS tracking systems are used to determine when the merchandise was received. Returns received without an RA number will not be accepted. Items must be repacked carefully in the same manner as it was sent to you ( insured to the valued price) and you must initiate shipping it back to us fully insured within 3 days or receiving the Return Authorization number. Items received damaged due to inadequate packaging will not receive a refund. Shipping and handling charges are not refunded. Refunds are only available to the purchaser of an item.
Damaged Items If anything in your package arrives broken , please do the following:
Save all the packaging, including the outside carton.

We will make the insurance claim for you and do everything we can to replace your merchandise as quickly as possible. It may be necessary for UPS or USPS to inspect your package so be sure to save all of the packing materials so they can pick them up.
Shipping Information We ship via UPS or USPS Priority Mail. If not otherwise stated, we use UPS GroundTrac or USPS Priority Mail for delivery for all locations in the United States. At present we do not ship to anywhere outside the continental United States. We also offer 3 Day, 2 Day and Overnight delivery options. All packages are fully insured and well packed upon leaving the gallery.
UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes so be certain to provide a street address. If you provide an incorrect address or PO Box and UPS charges for the address correction, we will charge this fee to your credit card.
Upon processing your order, you will be given a tracking number so that you can track the progress of your package.
Shipping Rates We charge for packing and handling based on the size, fragility, and shipping requirements of the items. This will be added to the actual shipping fees calculated by UPS and USPS , which are based on the zip code to which it is shipped, the weight, dimensions of the package and the value. We do not make any profit from shipping fees and our charges are considerably less than most packaging stores.
